Hi, my name is Rabbit. I am the youngest of 4 girls who my parents raised with unyielding love. I live in Sour Lake, TX and I have worked for the US Postal Service for the past 15 years. I am also returning to college at Lamar University in the fall of 2009. I am the proud mother of three great (but spoiled) children. My oldest son, Cody, is 15 and an outstanding golfer. My 10 year old son, Lawrence Jr., is one of a kind, and my 6 year old daughter, Zoë’, is the next “Top Model”.
I am Pepper’s sister and Sho-Nuf’s sister-in-law. Pepper is my best-friend and in my eyes Sho-Nuf is the brother I never had. They introduced me to the Buffalo Soldiers in October of 2008 at their patch ceremony in Houston, TX. Until then, I honestly had no idea of the loyalty and trust the Soldiers had towards one another. I toured the Buffalo Soldier Museum with the members and learned things about this organization that truly impressed me.
As I am the mother of 3 (2 of which are bi-racial) it is important for me to have strong black influences in their lives. In my experience with this organization I know there are no better role models for my children and others. I am extremely proud to be part of The Buffalo Soldiers and hope that I can spread their history to those unaware of the courage and dedication the Original Buffalo Soldiers possessed.
I never had the opportunity to learn to ride due to the fact that one of my older sisters had a very serious accident and my mother forbid my dad to teach me. However, I love to ride “as a passenger” and I have plans to attend a class in June of 2009 in order to acquire my license.
